Artistic Thinking als Motor für Innovationskraft

Über den Einsatz Kunstbasierter Interventionen in Unternehmen.

Art-based interventions (ABI) can rightfully be described as one of the great hypes of the 21st century. This is especially true when they are mentioned in connection with change processes in organizations. Artistic or art-based interventions refer to situations where artists become active in organizations - whether as instructors in workshops for employees or as artists in residence who have replaced their studio with the organization's premises for a certain period of time. But what exactly characterizes artistic thinking and acting that has brought it into the focus of various scientific disciplines and innovation management? This work distills individual parameters of this thinking and acting and finally offers an answer to the (admittedly exaggerated) question of whether one absolutely has to dance in order to establish new ways of working in organizations.
